external video input into the CID (Astra-H Zafira B)

Hello Astra-H friends,

for all those who wants to use their original CID not only for navigation etc. but also for external video (DVD, DVB-T, CAR-PC, reversing camera, iPod-video, whatever) there is a new CID-Interface V5.2 available. The base price is 110,-€.

Here are the main features:

- 4 switchable video inputs, each one with the following features:
composite (FBAS) or S-video standard adjustable
PAL or NTSC norm adjustable
brightness, contrast, saturation and hue values (only NTSC) adjustable
8 screen formats (16 x 9, 4 x 3 etc.) adjustable
horizontal and vertical mirror adjustable
video input enabled / disabled adjustable

- operation via one push button possible (on-off, cycle video inputs forward & backward)

- connection of a status-LED possible (showing operation modes via blink sequences)

- all parameters can be adjusted and saved via a USB-connection and a Windows-program (CID-Interface Suite), even when not installed inside the CID (outside the car)

- real-time remote control via USB-connection, e.g. from a CAR-PC (selecting the video inputs, accessing all parameters, status information, temperatures etc.

-„mute-in“ input for immediate switchback to internal video mode (original Opel radio) on incoming or outgoing telephone calls

- adjustable video signal detection on input 4 for immediate selection of this input when a video signal is recognized (e.g. for automatic switching to a reversing camera). Alternatively a digital input is available for this function („Inp.4 on“)

- adjustable overtemperature detection with video converter shutdown to protect the CID in case of an overtemperature condition
